 Our First Quilt Show
was a great success!
Held at Long Memorial Hall in downtown Farmington, was viewed by over 250 guests from all over St. Francis and surrounding counties.
We had a team of workers who remarkably set up everything in 6 hrs, and took everything down in 1 hr & 20 min.
Over 60 quilts were shown:  10 antique quilts and the rest were original creations of guild members.
"Best of Show" award went to Diana Dawson for her "House Sampler" Quilt,(a Block of the Month quilt from a quilt shop in Tennessee) 2nd place went to Joyce White for her "Paint Brush" Quilt and 3rd place went to Joyce White for her "Basket of Flowers" Quilt.

Diana's quilt was pieced and appliqued with help from Phyllis Hargis and it was quilted by her mother, Helen Elders.
